About Sojourn Collective
Sojourn Collective has been a dream for over the last decade. As I've helped countless SaaS businesses to scale through employee marketing, GTM, strategic partner marketing programs, demand generation, brand marketing, and I've realized that my favorite part of marketing is tackling the next challenge.
Like humans, every business has a unique mix of expertise, resources, and luck. But not every business has had the time to build a story that defines who they are in a way that sets them apart from the competition, positions them in front of the audience they were built for, and continually optimizes against the ever-changing needs of the business and the market. I am endlessly fascinated by solving these issues for each unique scenario. And in this modern age, we can track and measure the impact of every activity we perform. And leverage AI conscientiously to save time and money.
For me, successful marketing is blending the art (great copy and creative) with the science (if it isn't measured, it isn't doing anything for you) of marketing. I hate inefficiencies and thrive on developing a unique strategy based on your growth trajectory, goals, and budget. If you're struggling with recognizing the right marketing talent when you see them, on defining the right time to hire and what roles, or how to take a new product or service to market, I'll be your temporary partner and help build a solution that will grow with you. If you are looking for a fractional marketing leader, or just someone to help you build a stronger story and implement it across the right channels, then let's sojourn together, into what's next for your business.
About Gina

Hi. I'm Gina. I've spent nearly 2 decades growing SMBs from the inside and 2 years on the agency side. I've worked mainly in the SaaS sector with global brands including Intuit and Sage Software, and I've worked in higher ed, retail, healthcare, agriculture, and at startups with less than 25 employees. I use my free time to support women entrepreneurs and nonprofits with marketing services and consulting.
Regardless of the role, from employee engagement to partner marketing, I've always been focused on one thing: How do I help this business, with its unique offerings, TAM, and opportunities, grow through marketing. In the most efficient way possible.
I started Sojourn Collective TN after relocating to Nashville and stumbling across the term "sojourn" and realizing life was too short to not follow my passion and work for many businesses at once.
"Sojourn" is defined as a temporary stay or visit in a place that is not your permanent home. It has meaning for me on a variety of levels, but for marketing, is the perfect state of being. Staying still, staying the same, is never a strategy for growth. Marketing requires constant tending, re-evaluation, re-tooling, and adjusting. It never stays still. I wanted the opportunity to help small businesses in my local community, and still work with the global SaaS companies I've honed my expertise with.
I look forward to learning your story, and having the opportunity to help solve your marketing challenges and drive meaningful business growth.
